If you’re like me and have sweaty hands, regular pickleball overgrips just don’t cut it. I have spent hours of gameplay and have tried every “sweat absorbing” grip I could find to give you what I think are the BEST one(s) worth spending your money on. So if that’s what you’re looking for, READ ON!

When I first started playing Pickleball, I had no idea over grip tape was even a thing. I showed up with my grocery store paddle and found out very quickly that 1. The paddle was terrible, and 2. My sweaty hands were eating away at the default paddle grip. After upgrading my Paddle, I took a deep dive into various paddle grips. Most important to me while testing was function and feel. Color and price were secondary.
BEST OVERGRIPS
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Initially, these felt like any other grip when first applied. However, the more I used it and the more I sweat, the grippier it became! I have used the same grip that I applied about 2 months ago and it continues to hold up without wearing down. The only reason I need to change this grip is when it gets dirty, especially with the lighter colors.

CONS
- Long-Lasting, quality material
- Excellent sweat absorption and grip
- Multiple color options
- Flexible with soft stretch
- Higher priced, but worth the cost since it lasts for weeks to months

Durable, extremely soft, and sweat absorbing. I absolutely love this grip!

- Extremely soft
- Durable (I haven’t had to replace the grip yet since putting it on)
- Different color options
- Zero tac
- On the thicker side
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Easily recognized by its unique blue color, Tourna Grip is one of the best sweat absorbing overgrips available. These do tend to break down quickly, and are only available in 1 color, but worth it for its true sweat absorbing ability.

PROS
CONS
- Excellent sweat absorbing
- Soft, not sticky
- Breaks down quickly
(I have to change the grip every 2-3 sessions) - Only 1 color option
- Too short for long handles
(buy the Tourna Tennis grip if needed)

? STARS
Claimed to be the longer-lasting version of the original Tourna Grip. I hope the sweat-absorbing ability is just as good.

PROS
CONS
- Excellent sweat absorbing?
- More durable
- Tennis racket length, plenty for a Pickleball paddle
- Only 1 color option
ACCESSORIES
Once you’ve found the perfect grip, it’s time to CUSTOMIZE and PROTECT.
Here are some of my favorites:
Rep the amazing Komodo brand with a universal paddle cover.
Everything Komodo s extremely HIGH QUALITY, so check out their other products HERE, and use code “RebelStrong” for 10% off!

I’m surprised that there are virtually ZERO paddle handle covers available. This was the only one I could find. Funny enough, they market this as a grip cover for gameplay use, which I would NOT recommend lol. It’s great for storage and transport to prevent damage to the paddle handle and overgrip.

OTHER GRIPS TESTED
⭐️⭐️⭐️
High quality overgrips with a soft and grippy feel. Unfortunately, Komodo does not make a sweat-absorbing overgrip option.
But everything else Komodo does is extremely HIGH QUALITY. Go check out their other products HERE, and use code “RebelStrong” for 10% off!

PROS
CONS
- Multiple color options
- Durable and High Quality
- Soft and grippy feel
- Amazing brand
- NOT Sweat absorbing
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Despite being labeled as “moisture wicking”, these overgrips do not absorb sweat and become quite slippery when wet. This is unfortunate because they have an incredible selection of colors.

PROS
CONS
- Multiple color options
- Durable
- NOT Sweat absorbing
⭐️⭐️
I hoped that the same sweat absorbing technology in the Tourna Grip would also be present in this version of overgrip, but it was not the case. The “mega tac” almost immediately gone after playing just a short time with sweaty hands.

PROS
CONS
- Quality material
- NOT Sweat absorbing
- Limited color options
