FRIDAY Aura
Widebody

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

BRAND NEW PROJECT AURA GEN 4 ALL-COURT FULL FOAM PADDLE (2026)
The first wave sold out in less than an hour and I was lucky enough to get my hands on one! So don’t wait to get yours either!
I never thought I would find a paddle to replace my Fever 102 Widebody, until I began to play with the Aura Widebody! It is an incredible paddle that fits my play style perfectly! I lean more towards control and precision, which the Fever 102 delivered perfectly, but sacrificed just a little bit of power and pop to do so. That is NOT the case with the Aura Widebody! It has all the control of the Fever 102 while delivering sneaky POP, excellent spin, power, and incredible control for flicks and rolls at the kitchen line.
For singles, I need just a little more reach for drives and winners so use the Aura Hybrid for most singles matches, and the Aura Elongated as a Singles backup/alternate paddle. These also make great backup paddles when playing outdoors in windy conditions.

The Aura Pro is the high power option: loud, poppy, and explosive, built to drive hard, counter fast, and finish points. This has just a little too much “POP” for me.
The Aura Regular is the all-court option: soft, forgiving, and made for touch, resets, and shaping the ball with confidence, and believe me, there’s plenty of power to go around. I had effortless power compared to my Fever 102 Widebody.

PROS

CONS

  • HIGH QUALITY, LOW COST
  • Incredible control, but with just the right amount of Pop and Power
  • Effortless resets and dinks
  • Absorption and Placement
  • Multiple color options
  • Slight loss of reach compared to the Aura Hybrid or Elongated paddles, so not as good for SINGLES.

FRIDAY Aura
Hybrid

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

BRAND NEW PROJECT AURA GEN 4 ALL-COURT FULL FOAM PADDLE
The first wave sold out in less than an hour and I was lucky enough to get my hands on one! So don’t wait to get yours either!
Similar to an all-mountain ski, a hybrid paddle combines the best of both worlds between power and control. If there were no Aura Widebody option, I would be absolutely satisfied playing with the Aura Hybrid! It offers reach and power without compromising control. And while I prefer the Aura Widebody or the Fever 102 Widebody for Doubles matches, I absolutely prefer the Aura Hybrid over the Aura Elongated for Singles!
If you aren’t sure what type of paddle to get or what shape you prefer, the Aura Hybrid is a very SAFE choice that gives you a little bit of both worlds.

The Aura Pro is the high power option: loud, poppy, and explosive, built to drive hard, counter fast, and finish points.
The Aura Regular is the all-court option: soft, forgiving, and made for touch, resets, and shaping the ball with confidence. *This is what I play with, and believe me, there’s plenty of power to go around. I had effortless power compared to my Fever 102 Widebody.

PROS

CONS

  • HIGH QUALITY, LOW COST
  • Great for SINGLES
  • Effortless Power and Spin
  • Absorption and Placement
  • Multiple color options
  • Perfect mix between power and control
  • Compromise between control and power, but worth it if you aren’t sure which you prefer

FRIDAY Aura
Elongated

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4.5

BRAND NEW PROJECT AURA GEN 4 ALL-COURT FULL FOAM PADDLE
The first wave sold out in less than an hour and I was lucky enough to get my hands on one! So don’t wait to get yours either!
This paddle delivered! Don’t break the bank on one of those $300 paddles that goes BOOM! when you can get one of these for just over $100, and is arguably every bit as high quality if not better. For me, there was no adjustment period as I hit all my drives, drops, and dinks with precision, and was able to unlock more topspin and POWER than with my previous paddles. I’m a player who prefers control and precision over power and pace, but was able to do BOTH with this paddle. However, elongated paddles, in general, are not my preferred paddle shape for my play style and I found myself reverting back to my Fever 102 Widebody during early testing, which has now been fully replaced with the Aura Widebody!
Overall, I was extremely pleased with this paddle and would be a great option for those who prefer the elongated shape. I occasionally use this paddle for SINGLES when I feel that I need a little extra reach, or power on my drives., but prefer the Aura Hybrid for most singles matches.

  • Slight loss of control and precision compared to the FEVER Aura Widebody paddle, so not as good for DOUBLES.

FRIDAY Fever 102
Widebody

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Gen 3 Paddle with ElasTECH Perimeter Weighting for increased power and sweet spot stability.

This is a fantastic paddle, very well-designed, and does everything the expensive paddles do at a fraction of the cost! I switched to Friday because I was looking for a paddle with excellent control without sacrificing power and spin, and landed on the Fever 102 Wide Body and was not disappointed. This is my go-to paddle for DOUBLES, which allows me to play with great touch and precision. I can still generate plenty of topspin and power for overheads and drives.
I have found that this paddle requires more effort for passing shots and drives, which is less important in doubles, but critical for singles. Therefore, I prefer the Aura Elongated paddle for SINGLES (see above for more details).

PROS

CONS

  • HIGH QUALITY, LOW COST
  • Precision and control
  • Excellent dwell time and feel
  • Multiple color options
  • Slight loss of power and topspin compared to the Aura Elongated or Hybrid paddles, so not as good for SINGLES.

FRIDAY Fever 102
Elongated

⭐️⭐️⭐️

Gen 3 Paddle with ElasTECH Perimeter Weighting for increased power and sweet spot stability.

Honest review: I did not like this paddle. I felt that I lacked precision and control, but also struggled to generate power. It may be my play style, and likely could be remedied by adding weight. AND I think my opinion might be skewed by the fact that I tested this paddle on the same day as the NEW AURA ELONGATED paddle which performed head and shoulders above this one. Friday customer service was amazing and offered me partial refund options.

So if you’re unsure about whether to get the Fever 102 Elongated or the Aura Elongated paddle, it’s an easy decision to go with the Aura.

PROS

CONS

  • HIGH QUALITY, LOW COST
  • Multiple color options
  • Customer service

KOMODO PICKLEBALL

KOMODO

Full disclosure – I was once part of the Komodo Ambassador Athlete and Affiliate program. I loved the family feel of their brand and the quality gear they produced. Unfortunately, they have since dissolved this program due to likely financial strain, and I believe they are undergoing a company merger. I loved playing with the Komodo paddles, but switched my paddle to FRIDAY since I was looking for a paddle with more Touch and Control (Fever 102 Widebody) vs Pop and Power (TENET).
Despite all of this, Komodo paddles are still high quality paddles and are worth consideration.

Komodo TENET

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This paddle took me from an intermediate to an advanced player. There was a significant adjustment period due to its unique core design, but it allowed for excellent Pop, Power, and Resets. As I advanced my skill, the playfulness and pop of this paddle was a little bit too much for my style of soft game and I found myself popping up too many 3rd shot drops and dinks, which is why I switched to the FRIDAY Fever 102 Widebody.

Disclaimer: I was graciously gifted 2 Komodo TENET paddles to use and Demo by company CEO Dave Milo.

PROS

CONS

  • POP and Power
  • Control and Spin
  • Reach and Resets
  • Pop-ups
  • Price ($200)
  • Uncertainty of Komodo future as a company

Komodo Paddles
All others

⭐️⭐️⭐️

Other Komodo paddles are unique in their design and are all manufactured at high quality. However, I have not found them to be superior to any other paddle available on the market currently. They have limited inventory on their website as of March 2026 which might go along with the company merger. I will update this review as needed

ENHANCE PICKLEBALL

ENHANCE

Enhance Pickleball took my game from beginner to intermediate and beyond. It was one of the first paddles I purchased after the generic cheap ones. Not only do they sell paddles, they have great training devices and awesome content on YouTube / Social Media to help level-up your game!

Enhance Sweetspot Pro

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic Beginner to Intermediate paddle that will immediately level-up your game at an incredible price! Use Code JOSH87700 or click on the link HERE for $20 off!

PROS

CONS

  • Forgiving sweet spot
  • Good control and spin
  • Backed by tons of online coaching content
  • Amazing price ~$100
  • Great for beginner to intermediate level players, but may lack some of the paddle technology found in some of the other options. But for most players, this is an excellent choice at a very affordable price

Enhance Banger

⭐️⭐️⭐️

This paddle does exactly what it says it does: it hits hard! Great for all the bangers out there, not so great for touch, resets, or finesse. It was fun to play with for a while, could generate amazing topspin, but wasn’t a good fit for my play style.
Use Code JOSH87700 or click on the link HERE for $20 off!

PROS

CONS

  • For the Bangers
  • Topspin
  • Price ~$100
  • Lacks finesse, control, and touch
