Shoes

Xero 360 Rally
This shoe combines the X1 basketball shoe and the Original 360 to create an athletic shoe with barefoot freedom, support, and durability. I love this shoe!

Xero X1 Basketball
Worn by NBA and WNBA players. Incredible shoe, but can wear down easily on a pickleball hardcourt.
It is very likely this shoe gets an outsole upgrade in the near future.

Coaching Tools
Nothing beats an in-person coach, drilling, and reps. When I play at open-play, I focus less on winning and instead try to focus on 1 or 2 specific shots to practice during live gameplay. And when I sign up for tournaments, I always try to play up a division – even in moneyball tournaments.
PB Vision

Aside from in-person coaching and reps, PB Vision is an excellent tool for improving your game. PB Vision utilizes video upload data with AI integration to provide a breakdown of shot selection, shot quality, and various elements of the game for an individual performance skill rating. Earlier this year (Jan 2026), PB vision + DUPR announced a partnership where DUPR is “formally exploring how AI-powered video analysis can complement match results rating.” I anticipate this to be incorporated into DUPR ratings at some point in the near future to provide more accuracy, reliability, and validity to DUPR ratings.
The cost is extremely reasonable, and is currently at $99 for a year (base plan) which gets you 1,200 minutes for the entire year, which is 100 minutes per month, or about 10-15 games. If you sign up using my PB Vision LINK, or use code REBELSTRONG we BOTH get an additional 240 minutes!

Paddle Bands

Palms-O-Aces
There are tons of options out there, these ones just happen to be my favorites!
Paddle Weights
For something a little more sophisticated than lead or tungsten tape, and adjustable, here are 2 great options!

PickleClips
No affiliate link here, they just make a great product! If I am having an off day and notice specific mishits, I will pull out my PickleClips and clip them on my paddle and can easily adjust throughout my session. I haven’t had any damage to my paddle or edge guard. They sell both 2g and 3g clips.

Slyce Slydr Clips
Adjustable clips that tighten with a small screw. A little more cumbersome than PickleClips, but more permanent once tightened. Still an upgrade from lead tape.
